Lon has over 15 years of communications experience developing, implementing, and sustaining dynamic, results-oriented internal communications programs designed to increase employee engagement and support business strategies and objectives.

In addition to his corporate communications experience, Lon also has many years experiences in the advertising and marketing arena where he has won several awards with the Utah Press Associations and the Catholic Press Association.

Lon also has a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, a Master’s in Business Administration, and is working towards his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He is also SPHR certified and a member of SHRM. He is also a faculty member at the University of Phoenix where he teaches a variety of business undergrad and graduate-level courses.

Penny Bivens

Penny Bivens is a highly skilled marketing and communication professional with 15 years experience in a fast-paced technology company. Most recently, she won the Gold Hermes Creative Award from Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for outstanding communications concept, writing, and design. Previously, she built the HR Communication function at Intel which brought global consistency, record levels of quality and steadily decreasing cost to this function while completely overhauling the company intranet.

Penny also manages the local marketing programs for her family run retail business which has enjoyed year-over-year sales growth during the recession. She has also contributed to the writing of the “Marketing Blueprint,” a book and worksheet resource for small businesses and has taught many classes from Social Media to Total Quality Management.

Penny received her Masters Degree in Business Administration and her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Utah State University.
